The motion sensor emits an array of invisible passive infrared beams in front of it. This array is projected in a 110-degree angle and extends approximately 9 meters from the sensor, providing substantial coverage. When a person moves within this area, the sensor detects the motion and triggers the alarm.
The motion sensor is pet-immune for animals up to approximately 25 kg but will activate the alarm if a person moves within its field of vision. If you have a large dog, consider using contact sensors instead.
